Ice Cream Shop Adventures, Hawaii Family Photographer
Last Saturday my family and I took a trip to the local public library to see Caleigh’s artwork. One of her paintings was selected to represent the kindergarten class at her school, you can see it HERE. Afterwards, we decided to stop by Dairy Queen to have lunch. It was around 11:30am and the restaurant was completely empty, except for the workers of course. I almost decided to not bring my DSLR with me because I love the convenience of my phone, but I am so glad I did. I had no intentions of setting up a photoshoot at DQ so I love how random these photographs are. We had the place to ourselves for about an hour and a half before patrons started coming in and by that time we were all ready to go. One fun fact is that there are no standalone DQ restaurants in Hawaii (unless they recently built one?), I mean there are counters at the mall, but nothing beats getting the full experience ;). Oh, and Seth actually didn’t mind getting in the photographs–that’s always a win!
