Last Fall in Maryland | Honolulu Family Photographer
Literally. I am finally blogging the kids’ Fall session from October 2014. I decided to hold their little session over at the Savage Mill trail in the historic Savage, MD district. Want to know a neat little fact about this particular location? It is home to the Bollman Truss Bridge, the only remaining bridge of its kind! You can find more information about it HERE. On to the actual session…I remember watching the weather like a hawk because we had some strange chilly and rainy weather and I did have to reschedule quite a few sessions. Seth and I took the kids out on a weeknight with the hopes of it being deserted, and it was, so score on that one. We started at the bridge, worked our way down to the trail (didn’t go very far in), moved back up, and ended by the mill. Although last year’s Fall wasn’t as vibrant as the year before, I thought it was beautiful and the kids definitely had a blast being silly with each other (look, Kirstyn still had her two front teeth lol). Being from California, you don’t really get the full experience of Fall (cool and crisp nights, vibrant leaves, pumpkin spice haha) and I am so happy my family and I were able to experience three full Fall seasons. It’s definitely beautiful and a season I definitely enjoyed photographing.
