S Family, Maryland Family Photographer
I hope all my local readers were out enjoying the warm weather we had this weekend! Brooklynn had contacted me about a family portrait session a few weeks ago (thank you Brooklynn for choosing me to be your Maryland family photographer !), and we had originally scheduled the date for March 2nd, but because I work with natural light, that day did not work! It was windy, dreary, overcast, and cold! It started raining right before the scheduled session time so we rescheduled. I am so glad we did because not did we have the advantage of the sun setting later due to daylight savings time, it was much warmer! Brooklynn searched high and low for white dresses to compliment her husband’s Army uniform and she ended up making sashes and bows with her husband’s old ACU jacket to adorn their white dresses–how creative is that?! One thing I love about being a military family photographer is that I get to work with families from all branches of the military and I learn something new about their uniforms!
On to the session, the girls were a bit tired and sleepy and I am so thankful my good friend Jessica was there helping me pose a one and two year old! They have a mind of their own and I was so glad I was able to get one posed family photo for Brooklynn.
Enough of my chatter, check out a few of the sneaks below! 🙂
All the best,
Maryland Family Photographer, Sharleen Mey Photography
