Spring Mini Session Wrap Up! Severn, Maryland Family and Child Photographer

May was an incredibly busy month for me! I had planned mini sessions along with Jessica which were broken up to two weekends due to inclement weather. From experience, I am so glad we broke the sessions up into groups because I don’t think we could’ve handled FOURTEEN mini sessions in one day. I am so thankful for Willow Oak Flower and Herb farm (located in Severn, Maryland) for allowing Jessica and I to use their beautiful flower garden and pond for our mini sessions, it was the perfect location!

A note about mini sessions: I don’t think they are the right fit for me! I honestly don’t like the process that goes into mini sessions. There is A LOT of admin work involved sending out contracts, invoices, reminders, and if you have to reschedule, even more work goes into contacting the client! The number one factor that turns me away from mini sessions is the fact that I don’t get to engage with the client much. I pretty much had to pose and give direction and the session was over. I like planning sessions with my clients and getting to know them! With that being said, I truly enjoyed seeing and getting to know new faces as well as catching up with familiar ones, check out a few of my favorite sneaks from the sessions below (I wish I could post them all, but that would be too long! 😉 )…
