It’s Mini Session time…
Wow, I can’t believe the day is finally here! I know I’ve been talking about my FIRST ever Mini Session event here on Oahu for a few months now and it has been such a fun process planning everything. Keep reading and you’ll see that I’ll be going into the details about dates, time slots, and of course the GIVEAWAY, woo hoo!
First and most important, WHEN and WHERE will these mini sessions be held?
I’ve done a lot of research these past few months on determining the best location to hold a session marathon and the factors that contributed were:
Location: The area NEEDED to have a variety of settings for those who wanted beach, mountains, forest, or a combination of three and for those settings to be close to each other due to the session time.
Quality of Light: This happened to be the most important factor! The light had to be outstanding during early evening hours right until the sun went down. What better location than one on the Windward side?!
Accessibility: Planning and preparing for a session is already stressful enough, I had to make sure this area would could be easily accessed via a Google or Apple Maps pin and there wouldn’t be any strenuous walking or hiking.
The BEST and extremely beautiful location I will be using to host my Fall 2016 Mini Sessions will be at Bellows Beach Park – Public Side! It’s PERFECT for all genres from families to children and the water + sand looks beautiful while giving those who want more of a non-beach look access to the forested area. Here are a few images from the area I plan to hold the sessions:
Now that we’ve gotten location taken care of, let’s talk about WHEN in terms of dates and time slots.
I plan to hold my mini session marathon on TWO Sundays in October. The projected dates will be October 16th & 23rd with rain dates kept in mind. I plan to shoot five 20-minute sessions a day with time slots listed below:
3:30 pm, 4:00 pm, 4:30 pm, 5:00 pm, 5:30 pm
What is included with a session? How much will it be?
$250 + tax
Maximum of SIX family members
20 minute session time
5 (five) high-res digital files and its B+W copy with printing rights
Option to upgrade to a full gallery (minimum of 20 images presented)
Upgrade to the receive the entire gallery for an additional $200

You will receive one entry for booking a time slot and following through with the session. You can gain an additional entry by upgrading your gallery on the same day of booking your time slot. The winner will be drawn from a random online generator and announced via Facebook and Email on October 15th, 2016. Product + Print will be delivered upon completion of gallery and print oder.

Once payment has been made you will receive an email directing you to fill out a questionnaire and sign a contract. You will then receive more details about the session location as well as session tips via email TWO WEEKS before your session.
